And finally the mystery is solved - the French commentators were Laurence Darveau and Elisabeth Paradis. (I'm sure they introduced themselves at the beginning, but I didn't start watching the French stream until after the English one crashed.)

For those watching European Men SP instead of the Jr Men FS - Herman Lau withdrew from the FS; he was to skate first.

I am quite liking the commentators. KMT sounds as adorable as she looks and she and Kaitlyn W. were great together for pairs and dance. Kaetlyn O. is great with Ted. I am missing Kevin R. but he is busy all week as a technical specialist.

After the Jr Men FS was completed, with some changes in position as we anticipated, we have moved to the Jr Synchro SP.

I got home from work just in time to see Kemp/Elizarov, so that was good timing! (And then I'll have to go out again right after the next segment starts...)

I'm looking forward to watching the men later - I didn't look at the spoiler, but it sounds like it might have been a bit of a wild ride!

Ted Barton just commented (on the Jr Women FS broadcast) that he was "mad at" Kevin Reynolds who is doing Technical Specialist duties this week. Apparently Ted wasn't supposed to be part of the broadcast - it was supposed to be Kevin working with Kaetlyn for the Men and Women but then Kevin got the TS spot. I'm not sure if that was just for the Junior broadcasts or for both.

The start order for the Jr. Women FS - 3 groups of 6:
1 Calissa Adlem BC/YK
2 Alessia Taddeo QC
3 Emily Sales BC/YK
4 Natasha Hewitt ON
5 Ashley Dinh ON
6 Kassidy Sinclair AB/NT/NU
7 Valeria Veprjitska ON
8 Gabrielle Jugnauth BC/YK
9 Michelle Lee ON
10 Kara Yun BC/YK
11 Mély-Ann Gagner QC
12 Mégane Vallières QC
13 Lucille Yang ON
14 Stavrina Aranitis QC
15 Reese Rose ON
16 Lulu Lin ON
17 Aleksa Volkova QC
18 Megan Woodley ON

Not a great junior women's free competition so far. Adlem is leading after the first group after skating first.

Hmm the video went black and all three streams and giving me the error message "Unexpected error. This video can't be displayed right now sorry"

Now it says "This live stream isn't available right now"

Gagner had a pretty good skate. A few mistakes, she didn't seem that happy but she was very happy with her score. Ted and Kaetlyn are very high on her with their commentary.

Yang started off so well, three really strong jumping passes but later she had three hard falls. A promising skater.

Lucille Yang got off to a great start, but then had several hard falls and just really didn't have the momentum or stamina to get through the 2nd half of the program.

I wonder if Stravina Aranitis intended that first combo to be 2a-1eu-3s instead of a 1a? I do appreciate a well-done Euler though. :)

I love her speed and power, and the way that she doesn't hesitate when she approaches her jumps. (Of course she doubled a salchow as I was typing that, but I stand by it. :p)

Anyways, I think I have a new favourite!

Reese Rose is another powerful skater. Her jumps are sometimes a bit wild and off-axis though. She reminds me of Gabby Daleman in that way; she needs to learn to control that power a bit more.
