I don't think anyone is going to beat Lulu Lin today. As I say that she falls on her final jump the triple salcow but I still think she will win this.

This is a GREAT program for Lulu, and she clearly enjoys it. I'm surprised more women don't use the "Enola Holmes" music.

Volkova showed good fight out there. Interesting that she and Lin both did their three jump combo with two double axels on the end. She finished behind her music. She looks happy.

Aleksa had some nice spin positions, and a lovely Ina Bauer in her choreo sequence. There were times were she kind of let go of the performance aspect and you could see how hard she was concentrating, but there were lots of nice moments in that program.

Lin has a good chance to make the junior world team I would say. Will be interesting to see how the eligible skaters who are skating senior later this week compare.

I thought that was a really charming FD for Chung/MacKenzie. They're getting fairly low levels on most of their elements, but I think Enchanted was a fun choice of theme and they obviously enjoyed performing it.

They both biffed twizzles, but I really like the Carandiuc sibs from QC. They skated to the pulse of the music, and their lifts were lovely. He's got a dash of the "it" factor.

Pehl/Yu are skating with a lot more speed and confidence than the previous teams. I liked their position in the choreo slide.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Gans/Boutsan develop over the next few years. They both brought a lot of passion to their performance, and they looked like they were truly feeling the choreo, rather than just following the steps.

They won't be close to the podium this time, but I think they will be in the future.

I liked how Cinçon-Debout/Celestino's FD built towards the end of the program. She is so elegant, especially her arms.

Bolender/Dotzert opening with a beautiful stationary lift that came out of nowhere. I like to be surprised by the choreo.

I saw Sophia Gover's yellow dress and said to myself "This had better be a Beauty & the Beast program". I'm happy to be right.

Sabatini-Speciale/Buelow skate with lots of speed, and their elements all looked clean and precise. With their speed though, I sometimes felt like they were rushing through the choreography.
