We are in Europe on vacation. I've heard from most of my family. Still waiting on one cousin.

Our townhome is close to the airport which did experienced a touch down, but it went to the north of us.

I'll let others report their experiences.

For as widespread as the tornado path was, I've only heard of 6 injuries - mostly minor, one hospitalization. But they are still searching through the debris

Harlan Iowa, Sulpher Oklahoma—these storms usually drop a lot of funnels but these all seem large. RIP

Yes, but she also was at the airport when the tornado touched down there

It seems like there is more tornadic activity this year and some of them are massive.
Years ago (1991) I remember rolling my eyes at our local radio stations going on and on about tornado watches in the area. I thought they tended to be melodramatic. But by that night parts of Wichita and Andover were flattened.
So they are going on and on today about tomorrow in Oklahoma and Kansas. Here’s to hoping they are wrong.
