I like Isabeau’s dress - except the color. It would look so much better if it was literally any other color.

Overall, Isabeau did well!

Hendrickx looks like a hooker. When she went over to the judges, I wondered if she was offering a lap dance.

We're fine with skaters impersonating racially coded snakes, the Romani ethnicity, killers for hire, etc., but not sex workers? I find this theme least objectionable, in fact.

A hooker program is fine, but she seriously needs to get her arms under control.

The FP is always a trial by fire for Amber. Isabeau needs to focus on herself and give the best performance possible (I just hope she will be wearing a new costume---not the one from the Challenger).

I was running behind but caught up with everything. Loved, loved, loved both Glenn and Hendrickx (I think she can ditch the boards vamping part, though). Even Levito had a cool program and they are masking her slowing down on the jumps better now. But Loena and Amber are skating to more upbeat, more complex choreography that requires keeping up with it to hit the precise nuances, and I'm loving it.

That said, I hope Amber's free skate has more of the same complexity. I already know the music is more same-old, same-old, but it doesn't mean all the choreo has to disappear, too

We've seriously seen so much less over the years. The men have skated with transparent tops for how long? Hint, it's way before Cizeron. I think everything Ilia Klimkin wore showed off his entire top and he even had transparent strips down his legs sometimes, too.

I guess it's safer not to use ice speed. But I feel sorry for her back.

It's pretty common for Challengers, Senior Bs and GP events to be on hockey sized rinks. Worlds is mandated to have the ice be Olympic sized, which usually requires removing seats, and additional expense for organizers.

Yes, but as we see, she's not capable of it because the technique she's learned over the last x amount of years has her going tentatively into almost every jumping element she does. Going into the jumps with speed is a whole different mind game. The only way she's going to be able to ditch that hunching forward or in every other direction is if she completely reworks the technique to not have to rely on that extra oomph to rotate, and that's probably way too much to ask of someone near the top of the field already.

Also there's an off duty technical controller in front of me who made a face and shook their head during one spin of levito's but idk why.

It was the camel on her combo spin. Looked awful and she ranked last in that element.

I think that depends. Tuk does her 3A with very little speed at all. It seems to depend on the skater and how they learned to jump.
