Ignore this or point me in the right direction if this has been discussed before/elsewhere, but is it a done deal that next year there will be a minimum score (tech score or total?) to advance to Nationals for Seniors?

456. APPROVED INCLUDING REFERRAL–
Section 5: A Minimum Technical Score for Senior Competitors at the U.S. Championships
...implementing in 19-20 season...

I mentioned this several times in the past but Livvy Shilling and I shared the same coach for about a year and we had lessons one after another. She was 12 or maybe 13 at that point, but she was so fearless, trying jumps that were unseen for the area we were skating. She really worked so hard and powered into everything, and everybody knew she was going to be the star one day.

Rough skate today- loop is usually good for her but she missed both. Beautifully paced and relaxed program, though.

Depending on when you were at that rink, I bet you skated with one of the kids who was at our rink years ago. She moved and that was the rink she skated at.

I love Hannah Miller's LP. I think it's one of my favorite ladies LP this season.
Music is "Rain, In Your Black Eyes" (Ezio Bosso), choreographed by Daniil Barantsev. Glad we'll get to see it again at Nationals!
Is that Agnes Zawadski in the kiss and cry with Livvy and Christy Krall?
Yes.

Alysa Liu's 2nd 3A was called underrotated <; she got credit for 3A+2T and her 6 other triples - PACS Senior Ladies FS protocols: http://www.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2019/27743/SEGM025.html

So Wheaton won all three Junior Sectionals (with Nguyen & Kolesnik not competing), plus I think all four juvenile dance spots at Easterns and the top three novice dance spots there as well. Assuming Sensenbrenner & Sperry are still there, I think thirteen teams headed to Nationals?

Kudos to Efimova & Zhao for winning intermediates in a tough matchup against Hauer & Starr. And to Haines & Koszuta for winning the FD at Pacifics.

I'm a little sad that the Lanata & Annis's "Funky Shoes" program won't make it to Nationals. But we will get Epps & Gilman's That's Amore:).

Are Brykalova & Brykalov done? They are MIA.
Also no Lavrova & Chen?

JUNIOR DANCE
Cesarek/Yehorov 142

Cesanek.

Efimova & Petrov scored 131.50 in their JGP event.
Wolfkostin & Zhao had 127.58 at their JGP.

Just found this! Forgot that Julia Biechler skated at 2012 Nationals Juvenile Girls.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glXO6ae1I8o

He coach at the time was Maria Pocheykina and Julia was also skating ice dance with Alexander Petrov at the time. Petrov just placed 4th in Junior Ice Dance at Pacific Coast Sectionals with Alina Efimova. Maria Pocheykina now coaches Reagan Scott who until recently skated for the US, now Junior in Canada.
