I wasn’t suggesting that Mishina should look serious. It doesn’t need to be a tragedy to change facial expression into something different, something perhaps relevant to the program. Mishina is doing that weird O face (like Wow, I am so surprised), but I really can’t see the relevance to the program. Or is she interpreting it as the cultural aspect - French Roma population who used to live near Notre-Dame were frequently surprised? I think her "O" face meant "excitement"...
I see. Then it should not be so hard to fix it. A few acting classes and she may learn the difference between excited and surprised. Luckily she doesn’t do this O face when she is excited in day-to-day life. That would be disastrous!
i just love that program really is my favourite pair long this season, I don’t think her head was quite in the game this weekend. Fantastic podium though i loved them all! Russians continue to rule the pairsEek, untypical throw errors for her!

In order to "really fix it".... she would have to use a tambourine and hit it with her foot 
Emotions. Boikova seems like a type of person to feel things deeply. Being off the ice recently didn't help either.
I agree, there is nothing to fix. As Mishina matures, her facial expressions will change. Same applies to a lot of young female pairs skaters. With very few exceptions, they don't get there until early to mid-20s.Mishina doesn’t have to “fix” anything. She won! O my, O my.
