Danielian's Gladiator FS is no more :(
He has gone back to last season's 'La Traviata' FS.

So we have Rukhin, Danielian and Samoilov, each with a win so far, going head to head at the final event! (If they want to qualify)
Lutfullin, Petrov, Sviridenko ( :drama: ) fighting for the final spots.

From the Volvo memorial:

Older girls:

1. Sofia Samodelkina 213.59 2 1 (clean skate, all +GOE, landed 3A and 3A+2T)
2. Sofia Akatieva 208.69 1 2 (4T+2T<<, 4T clean, 3A< fall, 3F!)
3. Veronika Zhilina 173.06 3 6 (rough skate, 4T<< fall, 1Lo, 3Lz fall)

Younger girls:
1. Sofia Dzepa 146.84 5 1 (clean FS, no 3+3)
2. Ksenia Melkumova 141.35 (fell on her last 3 jumping passes :( but did land 2A+3T)
3. Lyubov Rubstova 139.75 2 3

I think Samodelkina is the only one that's age eligible next year.

Spots available are based on GP/JGPF entries and likely 'byes' to nationals (Z/E, Kolyada).
Pairs would be max'd out already if the 5 juniors team show up with a senior program, let's see how many it will be in the end.

Good news for @alchemy void , does not look bad for Talalaykina making it :cheer:

Here's a partial list of competitors (only the Moscow participants). Full list should be out once the draw takes place.

Stolbova/Novoselov and Pavliuchenko/Khodykin in pairs
Those 2 lower the chances of all other pairs making it to nationals to 10%, if at all.

In such a weak ladies field, I guess Sinitsina does not much harm.

Men seems intense (in the fight for spots) :watch:

Sinitsina-Frolova-Tarakanova are all at the same rink with Panova (i am sure you're aware) and these three go head-to-head against each other on daily basis. That alone makes it interesting, and not a very weak field (for these three) as they periodically get ahead of one another.

Ice dance usually have 15 entries. (There would have been 14 if someone withdrew, or if the federation just couldn’t find one more at least semi-decent couple. )

pairs - usually 12
Ladies and men usually 18

Well, seems like Rukhin withdrew 🤷‍♂️
Makes things a bit easier for the rest. Kinda odd though, wenn one of the cup-winners won't skate at nationals, hm.
