[5th in SP] Elano 60.92 - last season's Tango medley
...
Shinohara 55.74 - new SP to Billy Joel's "Piano Man"
...
Kept last season's SP music: Sanchez, Murzin, Kovar, Elano, Nguyen, Brooks.
Music correction: Lorenzo Elano skated to a new & different Tango SP this season: Piazzolla's famous "Adios Nonino." He is 15 (will be 16 in November) and was the "surprise" for me among the men in this field, placing 5th in SP, 6th in FS and overall. (ETA that Elano was added to the ISP after last month’s Southport club comp.)

Tommy Steenberg's 2 kiss & cry photos with Elano & Taira Shinohara (and fellow coaches Jeremy Allen & Denise Myers): https://www.instagram.com/p/CuaJ-xlR1G3/
Steenberg choreographed Shinohara's new programs to "Piano Man" (SP) and "Sparkle" by RADWIMPS (FS) as well as Elano's FS to "We Insist" by Zoë Keating/music from The Hours by Philip Glass.
Highlight of group 1 was Teryn Kim - she leads with 151.55, 110.03 in her FS to classical ballet music (wearing a pink tutu & white gloves) and she stood up on all of her jump attempts (with some likely underotations, like her opening 3F+3T). Nice job! :)
Teryn only received 1 underrotation in her 3rd place FS (3F+3T<) and was credited with landing 6 of her 7 triples cleanly. Her ballet FS (which one please? :)) was choreographed by Nadia Kanaeva; Vera Arutunian was with her in Milwaukee.

Sleeping Beauty :)

Teryn was definitely my discovery of the competition! Looking forward to hopefully seeing more of her in the future.

Thank you and me too, @Stephanie!
She had a cute Blackpink SP, glad to see her do well in the free!
[SP] Group 2:
...
Teryn Kim (classical sounding violin piece that transitioned to rap/heavy beat in 2nd half)
The first part is Paganini's "La Campanella" -- I searched online and discovered that BLACKPINK's "Shut Down" (used in the second part of Teryn's SP) "samples the beginning of the third movement of Italian composer Niccolò Paganini's second violin concerto, commonly known as 'La Campanella'."
Alina Milevska choreographed Teryn's SP. :)

As someone who attended Chesapeake Open, I am happy to see that Beck skated FS so well (I really love his hand positions and overall movements) but bummed that Antonio did not skate FS as good as last time. But it is still early in the season! Hope that everyone will have a great time for the next comp.

And now I see that Antonio's FS uses Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 1, 2, and 3.

Does anyone know if Beck has moved to Aston, PA with Viktor Pfeifer or has he stayed in Colorado?

I may be heaving “Heart Issues” with so much classical music being used this season! I can forgive Kirk Haugeto’s Hip Hop Rigoletto.

Elyce Lin-Gracey's post with clips from her FS & SP plus an on ice group photo of all 19 women (#7 of 8): https://www.instagram.com/p/CudbWDkLjmA/
She is working with Tammy Gambill & Damon Allen in Colorado Springs now.

"Happy Kirk" Haugeto shared a group photo of all 15 men (#2), one with Michael Xie (#3) & his trip to the Milwaukee Zoo: https://www.instagram.com/p/CudZeV9LqWi/
He competed his SP last month; Milwaukee was his first full competition.

The host club (Wisonsin FSC) has 2 short clips from the medal ceremonies (plus a pic of Kirk decked out in red, white & blue): https://www.instagram.com/p/CubKQvZuSfL/

All in one program? Overachiever!
For the classical music aficionados here :) the specific movements used in Antonio Monaco's FS are:
Piano Concerto No. 1 in F-Sharp Minor, Op. 1 - I. Vivace;
Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor, Op. 18 - III. Allegro scherzando;
Piano Concerto No. 3, Op. 30, in D Minor - III. Finale Alla breve (famously used in Kwan's 1997-98 SP).

^^^ I enjoy watching Taira's vlogs :) - Shinohara posted his full programs on his YT channel as well (both choreographed by Tommy Steenberg):
"Piano Man" SP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Psnq3FXDNxs
FS to "Sparkle" by RADWIMPS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AfWv-ZpTm8

Wisconsin FSC posted photos of the Junior Team Cup women's/men's groups on the ice & the podiums taken by the official photographer: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cuil6-tttko/

ETA - Men's winner Michael Xie's photos/clips: https://www.instagram.com/p/CuiSOorrGyR/
He mentioned Isabelle Inthisone, 19, was one of the team leaders for Junior Team Cup - she competed twice on the JGP in 2019, currently attends the University of Wisconsin, and recently announced her retirement: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cuk-FNvLDhV/
