My guess is that going early in the group, and the fact that they can’t compete internationally this year didn’t help their score.

I know I've seen Plazas/Fernandez several times and yet I never remember them when their program starts. I'm really not sure what makes them so forgettable for me. They aren't bad skaters. They just don't stand out to me.

in addition to inane commentary I started to hear weird scratching sounds. My furnace guy turned up to fix the blower and he must be trying to remove some rusty part and the sound is coming up through the vent lol

Plazas/Fernandez - Max misses the SBS jump again, Valentina nails the throw. Spins need work. So does their synchronicity on the step sequence, TBH. That TES won't hold up, but this SHOULD have them close to the lead. I guess the USFS really doesn't want a Pairs national champion that can't compete internationally until next season.
