The technical panel today was tough on levels on the spins, steps, and death spirals so the scores weren't pushing personal bests the way you might have expected just looking at the skates.

OK I did get up at 3 AM to watch but I was too tired to go grab the iPad to join the threads. I thought all the scores seemed a bit low. I thought Rebecca and Filippo we’re going to take over third place even with the double axels because they were so good but I really wanted Lucrezia and Matteo to stay in third which they did. I thought Minerva and Nikita were scored too low.

I think the team from Georgia is too Junior with those costumes and choreography to be at 71 points. I am baffled.

I liked her better with Kokon. She and Guarise never meshed. He’s much better with his much younger half-sister from his father’s second marriage, which is what they remind me of.
