Same mistake as in Budapest (argh) - fall on the second 3T of her combo -- but I'm glad to see Sherry's high quality skating rewarded with a season best! :)

ETA: Sarah Everhardt had the previous ISU SB among the U.S. JGP women in the SP (60.19 last week in Gdansk). With a clean-ish skate in the final group today, I assume Elyce Lin-Gracey can top her 59.75 from Istanbul.

Weird lighting in the K&C. Makes the skaters and coaches look very artsy.

Eunbi has promise! Very good skate and a most un-Korean-lady-like costume (black tie and jacket, though with the requisite amount of bling). Needs more stretch and speed, but that should score well.

Eunbi landed 3Lo+3T, 2A & 3Lz but I thought she skated "smaller" than Sherry and the PCS difference is correct.

I remember noting Cathryn Limketkai’s expressive skating when she was a Novice in the Boston area several years ago - glad she got this JGP opportunity for PHI!

Did Ted just say he liked Shifrin's Eilish-inspired costume? :shuffle:

A shame that Nayeon Ko fell on her opening 3F.

Rather odd for Kim to not be sent to the second jgp
Not odd for KSF, unfortunately. :( Yujae Kim (bronze medalist in Istanbul) placed 6th in KOR's JGP selection comp.in July and only the top 5 received 2 JGPs up front (6th to 9th got 1 apiece; Eunbi Park & Nayeon Ko were 8th & 9th).

ETA: I'm glad USFS was more flexible with their later assignments (Sherry getting #5 as an alternate, despite finishing 9th in the U.S. Junior Team Cup in July, and now #7).

Cute costume for Mao (I always welcome ladies' costumes that are something other than a pastel-coloured princess dress), but this music makes my ears bleed and is absolutely impossible to choreograph a good program to.

New leader by A LOT, as expected, after 22 skaters! Shimada's jumps: 2A, effortless looking 3F+3T, Rippon3Lz.

I was going to guess Kazakhstan by way of Moscow, but her ISU bio suggests it’s Kazakhstan by way of Belarus.

Gracey, the last best hope to have a skater not from Asia on a JGP women’s podium this season.

Lin-Gracey's ISU bio still lists her coach last season in LA, Amy Evidente - now as the 4th coach.

Great job today :cheer2: - she looks ready for Senior in the US.
