This program is a leftover from Yuma's more junior-ish days and it shows, but he and his team have done their best to refine the choreo during his time away from competition.

He said he's thinking of using the Werther EX as his Olympic SP and that will be something truly special to behold. Ugh, I love him.

I thought it was a loose handkerchief at first, then I realized it was the end of the half-sash he's got on the front of his tunic and I wondered if we were in for a costume change. Alas, no. Though that would have made this program 1,000 times more interesting.

Camden - yeesh - clean on the jumps then a hand down in one of the spins and a likely time violation. This program is still a stinker, even when the jumps are landed.

Pretty good skate for Pullkinen - he always has to have one jump error, doubt he would have expected it to be the change foot combination spin that would cause him a problem.

I know most people hate that Vasiljevs programs are wannabe Lambiel programs, but how do we know that's not why he went to Lambiel in the first place? I don't see that as such a terrible thing.

Anyway, he biffed the quad, but the rest was nicely skated and he's enjoyable to watch.

The fall on the quadruple Salchow did not look kind to Deniss' ankle. The rest of his elements were excellent. I wonder if Vasiljevs needs to give it up and focus on everything else.
