PerMich - did we know Trennt's shirt has a bunch of small cutouts on the shoulder/bicep?

Ooof - that throw stood no chance of being landed from the takeoff.

This step sequence is really good.

The ISU's color balance on its overhead camera is off. It makes Lia's dress look royal purple not royal blue like it has been all season and on the rinkside cameras here, lol.

Is Hase tall for a pairs girl or Volodin short?

Loved that routine, hadn’t really been watching pairs this season so hadn’t seen it before.

HaseVol - guess going back to Germany from Osaka was the wrong decision since that flight is where he caught his cold, but they did land their SBS 3s and the throw was smooth.

Well, this will be interesting... TES would indicate they're going to beat ConMac today.

Nikita is much better at the pair elements than Nolan was, but he and Minerva didn't once look at each other til the last 5 seconds of that program. Maybe they shouldn't have picked a romantic song?

3T - he had a slight two foot landing
Hand/Hip Lift 4
Throw 3Lo - slight two foot
Ch Combo Spin 4
Step Sequence 4

Forward Inside Death Sp 4

Tight landings on his toeloop, and in the throw, but still probably their best short of the season.

71.22 = 2nd Place

SDDes - that twist is huge. SBS 3t clean but not as good as HaseVol. Nice unison on the SBS spins.

TES would indicate they're going to be 2nd and closer to ConMac than HaseVol when the scores come in.

Not their best day quality-wise on the jumping elements, but not the worst by any means either. We'll see if PCS takes them into the lead.

Just watched through. The Hungarians are just so spot-on with the jumping elements. They need to pull their personalities out though because it continues to be all business. G/A looked clunky compared to the other teams in this event, and I think the second half of their short is too packed with elements coming directly after one another. It makes it all look like hard work. Conti and Macii skated well, but the judges haven’t really given them outstanding PCS (or GOE for that matter) all season so far. P/M aside from the fall were were pleasant. The music is growing on me finally but I think they should’ve had something completely different that brings out her spark especially. H/V were the same old that she was with Seegert. Nice skating, always pleasant slow music, but I think most of it was skated right through without any relation. The entry to the lift is cool. SD/D have my favorite short by far and they amp it up with their intensity each time out. Not a safe choice and the choreo has to be right on. Their PCS really should be higher at least for composition and performance.

They have only been training together since may. They seem to have a nice understanding off ice, so hopefully more connection on the ice will come.
