How long do we have to wait for GP assignments?

Pitot - Crossing my fingers he can take this from the boring Lim. He's a much more enjoyable skater who pays attention to the musical nuances. Plus, JGPF would be a great accomplishment for a French man!

ETA - if he makes the JGPF, rest assured, ANL will be popping up to ask who the hot coach is and everyone will respond with "Mariah's ex!"

Indeed - I need some breakfast, lol. Plus, gotta be mentally prepared for work in 90 minutes.

I missed most of the last flight because we were suddenly overrun by hawks and vultures, and ran out to look at them. I'm not making this up. Hawks and vultures EVERYWHERE. I've never seen anything like it, outside of Hitchcock. Either there's a big migration going on or something died in the woods out back.

Anyway, if Yanhao couldn't medal, I was hoping Michael could. But pulling all the way up to fourth is very respectable!

For me Michael Xie had the best overall free skate. But super happy for Pitot with a gold medal. Sad for Li…but he’ll be back! Martynov has a fantastic, solid triple axel. He skates very Russian with not much knee bend and expression (Morozov…ughh..surprised he is still living in the U.S). But super happy for Daniel…promising future. Please get a different haircut (thought that last year too, but not an improvement 🤷‍♀️) USFS better get him to another Grand Prix.

The melt down from Japan’s Nakamura was very hard to watch. Hugs! He had technique a lot like Yamamoto. Not loving the technique of Lim for the silver but can’t really argue with the result and he was so happy. Always love the supportive Japanese audience!
