Yudong Chen opened with 3A fall, took a while to get up - he looks hurt but is still going

Chen goes down hard on his opening 3A and I'm pretty sure he's injured his ankle. Bad landings on his next two jumps.

Ugh, I get here in time to watch Yudong try to skate through an obvious injury on the first jump. Will someone please tell that silly boy to stop making it worse?

He looks injured and should stop. Every jump is a struggle and he looks like he's in pain.

Gosh, this is hard to watch. After skating with a back brace last week, Chen fell down hard on the 3A and barely got back up. He should have never been sent to the JGP in this condition. The Chinese fed stays the worst.

falls on opening 3a, quad attempt with negative GOE, skating a bit nervy, carrying speed quite well throughout the program, could use more facial expression, non-axel solo triples looked nice.

nice 3a-3t to open, step-out on 3z-2a sequence, he looks settled and comfortable, nice basics, good posture, using the music effectively, you know how some skaters just make you feel like they are going to hit? That's the vibe I get from him. Well done.
