Sorry for getting into geopolitics here, but I wouldn't trust the Azerbaijani government too much (fake ceasefires are a local specialty in the Russian sphere of influence), plus in any case the situation is very unstable. I think it's stupid to go ahead with the competition, but if they do, I hope it goes well.

I think it was stupid of the ISU to give Armenia a JGP again after what happened last season, even if they did feel badly that it got cancelled. Hopefully, it will happen this year and they'll get it out of their system for a few years - or other countries will put in bids for JGPs. Anyway... Off to Oberstdorf!
